Recently, I read about a study that investigated the perception of boasting. What the researchers were looking for was whether there are specific situations in which bragging is more effective than in others. During the study,  “As” personality was evaluated by participants in different scenarios.

The researchers concluded that bragging only had the desired effect when someone else brought up the subject that the person wanted to boast about. It was interesting to read that he conversation can be steered around to the desired subject causing someone to ask a question, which then might lead to the possibility of successful bragging. Bragging needs to be learned like any other skill, interesting, isn’t it?

I wonder, do you use any tactics so you can brag successfully?
